This guide will explain where to go to change the username and password for your admin account or someone else's.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to your Magento admin panel.
  2. Navigate to System → Permissions → All Users.
          
  3. Find the user to edit from the list and click that row:

  1. To make changes, just update the relevant fields.

    Under "Current User Identity Verification", at the bottom of the User Info tab, you will need to enter the admin password for the account you are currently logged in as. You do not need to know the current password of the user you are editing.

  2. When finished making changes, click the orange "Save" button at the upper-right of the page.
