This article will guide you through the settings of the Request a Quote module.

View Existing Quotes

• Quotes can be viewed in the Magento Admin Panel underSales>Amasty Request a Quote>Quotes:
  • 
• On theQuotes page, you should see the following:
  • 
    • To see additional information about the order on this page, press theColumnsbutton: 
      • Then select the columns you would like to see:
        • 
    • To see a single quote, clickView.

Checking a Quote

• On a quote that has not been approved, you should see the following:
  • 
    • Here you can:
      • See general information about the quote, cancel or close a quote, approve a quote, or modify a quote:
        • Tocancel or close a quote, you can press the text surrounded in red:
          • 
        • Toapprove a quote, you can press the text surrounded in green:
          • 
        • Tomodify a quote, you can press the orange Edit button:
          • 

• On a quote that has been approved, you should see the following: 
  • 
    • Here you can:
      • See general information about the quote, cancel or close a quote, or convert a quote into an order:
        • Tocancel or close a quote, you can press the text surrounded in red:
          • 
        • Toconvert a quote to an order, you can press the text surrounded in green:
          • 

Email Notifications

• There are different emails sent to the customer depending on what happens with the quote.

  • The settings for what email is sent can be found under Amasty>Request a Quote>Configuration>Customer Notifications:

• If you would like to see what each email looks like, you can either do a test quote on your site (adding an item to a quote on the site and submitting a quote) or:

  1. On the left hand side navigation, go toMarketing>Communications>Email Templates.

  2. Click the orange button labeledAdd New Template.

  3. Click the dropdown menu next to Template:

  4. In the dropdown menu under Amasty_RequestQuote, select the option that matches the name of the email template you would like to view.

  5. Press Load Template.
